Twinsday #10 | A Day Of Honor

It's almost here! Today may be Twinsday #10, but TOMORROW is the big day for us! It's our City of Austin Proclamation Day, and we are way excited! If you're anywhere near City Hall, please stop by for the ceremony at 5:30PM for our performance in front of City Council. We will be presenting copies of our CDs, LOST AND FOUND (2012), and RUNNING OUT OF TIME (2014) for the city archives. You can also watch the event live on Time Warner Cable Channel 6, AT&T U-Verse Cable Channel 99 and Via the City's communications website, ATXN: www.atxn.tv. We hope you'll come by or tune in!

We'll be performing our song, Man In The Mask, for the council, but for today, we thought we'd give you another original. This is the title track to our EP, Lost and Found, performed live from the interview we did on Up Late Austin.

Sometime before this song was written, we had gone through a time in one of our bands when some changes had happened, and in a sense we felt we had "lost" our way. Months later, when we decided to go out on our own as a duet, we refocused and felt that we had "found" our new purpose. When we were recording our EP, this was the song that almost never was, having been written at the last minute by Annie about that time in our lives. With being honored by our hometown for our music, it seems particularly meaningful to share it with you today. ♥`
