A Look Back on 2016

Here we are, at the end of another year again. A time to reflect on the past, and look ahead with our hopes and dreams. We had a pretty busy year! We performed over 70 shows in the Austin, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas, and had the honor of being asked back for repeat performances and/or residencies for several of them. We performed at some great festivals and events this year (i.e. Fiesta San Antonio, Houston Via Colori, Pecan Street Festival, Austin's Trail of Lights, Austin Ice Cream Festival, Lone Star Houston Tea Festival, Inc., Elgin Western Days, Health Alliance for Austin Musicians - HAAM Benefit Day), and were happy to perform for our fourth time at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport this summer. We also got the opportunities to be featured on Up Late Austin with Jake, 90.1 FM KPFT Houston, KUTX 98.9, and several internet radio stations and podcasts. For our third consecutive year, we also received the honor of being chosen among the top five U18 bands in the area, as well as having our song "My Own Way" chosen in the top ten Songs of The Year by the Austin Chronicle Austin Music Awards.

We like to look back and think about the three things of which we are most proud for the year. For us, that's pretty simple. 1) For the first time, we got to vote in the Recording Academy / GRAMMYs! Being voting members of the organization is something we consider pretty special. 2) This summer, we recorded our third album, THE STORM WITHIN! Five new songs, recorded in five days, with our amazing producer, Omar Vallejo. We simply cannot wait until next month when it releases! And 3) This year, we performed with many, many wonderful musicians! We are truly grateful to have performed with them all, and to be able to call them our friends! "It's crazy how music can connect souls".

Once again, we want to thank you all ... for coming to our shows, for listening to us and our music, for talking to us on our social media, and letting us share our lives with you through our music. It means so much to us! ! Happy New Year everyone! Bring on 2017!
